What Are Holiday Twisteds?

Holiday Twisteds are a special category of Twisteds that only appear during limited-time seasonal Events in Dandy's World. Unlike regular Twisteds that spawn year-round, Holiday Twisteds are tied to Christmas, Easter, and Halloween celebrations. Each event introduces four Holiday Twisteds: one Main Character Twisted and three supporting Twisteds of varying rarity. Once the event ends, these Twisteds are removed from Floor spawns, but any Research collected remains permanently viewable and any Holiday Trinkets earned can still be equipped.

Spawning Mechanics

During an active Event, every Floor that is a multiple of 5 guarantees at least one Holiday Twisted spawn. This does not add an extra Twisted slot — it replaces one existing slot with a Holiday Twisted. Floor 20 always spawns the event's Main Twisted, making it the most reliable floor for Research farming. For example, Floor 20 spawns Twisted Bobette during Christmas, Twisted Bassie during Easter, and Twisted Gourdy during Halloween. These guaranteed spawn points help players complete Research for Main Character Holiday Twisteds before the event window closes.

Each seasonal event features four Holiday Twisteds at different rarity tiers. The Christmas Event includes Twisted Bobette (Main), Twisted Coal (Rare), Twisted Ginger (Uncommon), and Twisted Rudie. Twisted Bobette detects Item pickups and rushes toward them, Twisted Coal becomes fast during Blackouts at speed 25, and Twisted Ginger has the longest attention span at 10 seconds. The Easter Event features Twisted Bassie (Main), Twisted Cocoa (Rare), Twisted Eggson, and Twisted Flyte. Twisted Bassie spawns flower traps applying Slow III and Tired II debuffs. Each Holiday Twisted demands a different approach. For Twisted Bobette, avoid picking up Items near her hearing radius without speed Trinkets equipped — her chase speed matches Twisted Pebble, though her 5-second attack cooldown gives a brief escape window. Twisted Coal is harmless on normal Floors but becomes a fast threat during Blackouts. Twisted Ginger can be outwalked by any 3-Star Movement Speed Toon. For Twisted Bassie, memorize flower trap locations and keep speed Items ready — Ribecca is immune to her debuffs via her Undead passive. For Twisted Gourdy, carry spare Items to feed him before his rage meter fills. Twisted Eclipse's howling is punishing in solo runs as it calls all idle Twisteds to your position.

Research and Holiday Trinkets

Research for Holiday Twisteds works the same as regular Twisteds — collect Research Capsules to fill each percentage. Reaching 100 percent rewards a unique Holiday Trinket that persists after the event. Notable trinkets include Toy Kit (Twisted Bobette), Coal (Twisted Coal — a disadvantageous trinket similar to Brick), Peppermint Icing (Twisted Ginger), Whispering Flower (Twisted Bassie), Memory Locket (Twisted Gourdy), and Soul Sword (Twisted Soulvester). Prioritize Floor 20 runs to maximize Main Character Twisted Research before the event ends.

• Twisted Coal is slow compared to other Twisteds, but in Blackouts she moves as fast as old Twisted Pebble speed (25).
• Twisted Ginger has the longest attention span in the game at 10 seconds. When first released it was 25 seconds, later shortened to 15, then to 10.
• Twisted Bobette's stats closely mirror Twisted Pebble's. She detects Item pickups — including Tapes, consumables, and Ornaments but not Research Capsules — and rushes toward them like a failed Skill Check.
