How Badges Work
Badges in Dandy's World function as permanent achievements tied to a player's Roblox account. Once earned, a badge cannot be lost or reset. Certain badges can be displayed below a player's nametag during gameplay, allowing other players to see notable accomplishments at a glance. Badges fall into several distinct categories: progression badges earned by reaching specific floor milestones, cumulative stat badges that track lifetime totals for meters traveled, machines completed, and items used, challenge badges requiring specific in-game feats, toon-specific badges that demand playing as a particular character, and event-exclusive badges only available during limited-time events. The Alpha Player badge is notable because it remains obtainable even after the Alpha period, meaning new players can still earn it. Two badges are granted immediately upon first joining the game: Welcome to Dandy's World and Alpha Player, giving every new player an instant sense of progress.

Badge Earning Strategies
Cumulative badges like Marathon Runner, THE Machine, and Item Hunter do not need to be completed in a single session. Every meter traveled, machine finished, and item used across all runs counts toward the lifetime total, so consistent play is the most reliable path. For floor progression badges, survival is the priority. Equipping Trinkets that boost Health or Stamina helps sustain longer runs, and playing with a coordinated team of eight greatly increases the chance of reaching Floor 50 or Floor 100. Toon-specific badges such as Hissy Fit, Fine Dining, Bedtime, and Helpful Hugger each require playing as a designated character, so players should familiarize themselves with that toon's abilities before attempting the challenge. Stealth Mission is easiest on early floors where fewer Twisteds spawn, while Speed Runner benefits from small map layouts where machines are close together. For Center of Attention, higher floors naturally spawn more Twisteds, making it more likely that six will chase a single player at the same time. The Winning Choice badge requires coordination with all eight lobby members to unanimously vote for the same card, so communication through voice chat or stickers is essential. Empty Handed demands completing five consecutive floors without equipping any Trinkets, which is a significant handicap on later floors, so attempting this early in a run is recommended.
Trivia
- The Alpha Player badge description states it will grant a reward when Dandy's World enters full release, but no official details about this reward have been revealed yet.
- Hissy Fit is a reference to the rivalry between Shrimpo and Dyle, requiring Shrimpo to defeat Twisted Dyle on Dyle's Floor.
- The Attached badge requires players to voluntarily stay near Twisted Glisten for 30 seconds, turning a normally dangerous encounter into a deliberate challenge.
- Fine Dining requires playing as Squirm and eating from 10 unique bookshelves on a single floor, making it one of the most character-specific badges in the game.
- Center of Attention is one of the few badges that rewards players for being in danger rather than avoiding it, as it requires six Twisteds to chase the player simultaneously.
- Egg Hunter is currently the only confirmed event-exclusive badge, tied to the Easter Event, and cannot be earned outside of that limited-time window.
FAQ
How do you get the Twisteds Fear Me badge in Dandy's World?
Complete Floor 100 in a single run. This requires completing 100 consecutive Floors without the run ending. Using a well-coordinated team of eight players with strong Trinkets and Toons that have high survivability stats significantly improves your chances of reaching this milestone.
Which Dandy's World badges can only be earned during events?
Egg Hunter is currently the only confirmed event-exclusive badge, requiring players to find and click on all 10 Dandy Easter Eggs hidden in the Lobby during an Easter Event. Once the event ends, the badge becomes unobtainable until the event returns.
How do you earn the Helpful Hugger badge?
Play as Goob and use his Active Ability Hug! to pull another Toon into the Elevator during Panic Mode. Timing is critical since you need to be near both the Elevator and a teammate when Panic Mode triggers.
Are cumulative badges like Marathon Runner tracked across multiple runs?
Yes. Cumulative stat badges for meters traveled, machines completed, and items used track your lifetime totals across all runs. You do not need to reach the required number in a single session. Every run contributes to your overall progress.
How many badges are there in Dandy's World?
There are currently 42 badges in Dandy's World. Two are awarded immediately upon joining the game, one is event-exclusive, and the remaining badges are earned through gameplay challenges, cumulative stats, and specific in-game feats.
