Blot is best understood as a distractor support.
His active ability is Blot Jr..
Blot is strongest when played as a distractor or emergency support. His 4-star Movement Speed and 5-star Stamina let him handle long chases, while Blot Jr. can create a short window for a teammate to escape, reach the Elevator, or break away from a bad corner.
Use Blot Jr. with intention. Dropping the decoy near an active distractor can pull Twisteds off their route and create avoidable chaos. It is usually better to place it when a chase is already unstable, during Panic Mode, or when a teammate needs a few seconds to survive.
Blot is not a comfortable default extractor. His 1-star Skill Check creates small windows, and his 2-star Extraction Speed is below average. If the team needs him to work Machines, consider trinkets that improve Skill Check safety or compensate for slow extraction. Otherwise, let stronger extractors handle Machines while Blot manages pressure and rescue opportunities.
Tape management matters. Blot Jr. starts cheap, but the cost rises when more Blots are alive in the same round. Teams with multiple Blots, Sprout, or other Tape-hungry roles should coordinate spending so support tools are available when they actually change survival odds.
