Soul Sword is an Other-category Halloween Event trinket associated with Twisted Soulvester. When a Twisted successfully damages the player, the attacking Twisted is afflicted with a 15% speed Debuff for 30 seconds. The Debuff does not stack — if the same Twisted hits the player again during the 30-second window, the Debuff duration refreshes rather than compounding. The trinket effectively punishes Twisteds for landing a hit by slowing their pursuit speed afterward, giving the player a brief movement advantage during the escape. Because it requires being hit to trigger, the effect is reactive rather than preventive.

Strategies

Soul Sword turns a hit into a counterplay opportunity. After being struck, the attacking Twisted runs at 15% reduced speed for 30 seconds, which widens the gap the player needs to break line of sight.
