Description
Vanity Mirror appears as a pastel yellow handheld vanity mirror with a pink bow tie on the handle, resembling Glisten. It was added on August 14, 2024, alongside Blushy Bat, Fishing Rod, Savory Charm, and Sweet Charm. It is obtained by achieving 100% Research on Twisted Glisten. The Run Speed increase during Panic Mode could be a reference to Twisted Glisten's increase in speed when enraged in Panic Mode.
Strategies
Vanity Mirror helps if you struggle with reaching the Elevator during Panic Mode. Unlike Alarm, this Trinket gives a permanent boost during Panic Mode rather than a timed burst. Note that this Trinket only increases Run Speed and does not affect Walk Speed.
Vanity Mirror is very useful on 1-2 Star Movement Speed Toons such as Shrimpo, Ginger, Scraps, Rodger, Connie, Soulvester, or Vee, allowing them to outrun most Twisteds in Panic Mode. It can also be useful for distractors who want to outrun faster Twisteds like Twisted Pebble and Twisted Bobette during Panic Mode, though it only activates during Panic Mode and may not be worth a Trinket slot outside of that context.
This Trinket is useless if you are out of Stamina during Panic Mode since it only boosts Run Speed. Astro's Active Ability, Bottles o' Pop, or other Stamina-boosting effects may be helpful. Pair with Stamina Trinkets like Whispering Flower or Cooler to give more opportunity to utilize the boost. Support Toons like Tisha, Astro, Bobette, or Flyte can use Vanity Mirror to quickly assist Toons during Panic Mode while outrunning nearly every Twisted.

Vanity Mirror functions very similarly to Alarm, with Vanity Mirror granting an extra +5% in Run Speed, not affecting Walk Speed, and lasting for the entirety of Panic Mode.
