Version Update Guide

Dandy's World uses a four-part version numbering system: the first number marks a Major Update, the second a Minor Update, the third an Update Patch, and the fourth a Hotfix. As of 2026, the game remains in Alpha and has not yet received a full version 1.0 release. The teaser trailer released on October 31st, 2023, and the Alpha Trailer followed on June 7th, 2024, one week before launch. Minor updates introduce new Toons, Skins, Floors, or mechanic overhauls, while patches and hotfixes address bug fixes and balance adjustments. BlushCrunch Studio publishes changelog notes through the official Discord changelogs channel.

Cosmetic and Skin Milestones

Cosmetics have expanded dramatically since Alpha launch. The original Alpha 0.1 release included only Vintage Skins for the 12 playable Toons. Version 0.4 (September 28th, 2024) was the first major Skins update, adding over 20 unique designs such as Starry Night Astro, Cloudy Dream Boxten, and Sapphire Dots Poppy, while also introducing the Skin Ticket purchasing system and the Star-Time Cosmetic Pack gamepass. Subsequent cosmetic packs followed a seasonal pattern: Show-Time (v0.10.1, July 2025), Snow-Time (2025 Christmas), and Spring-Time (v0.17.1, March 2026 Easter). Each cosmetic pack bundles themed Skins for multiple Toons and is available as a Robux gamepass. Stickers were introduced in v0.11.1 (August 8th, 2025) as a quick communication tool, later expanded in v0.14.12 (January 16th, 2026) with 19 new text-based Stickers, broadcast visibility during matches, 8-slot sticker wheels, and a second free sticker wheel. The Journal system added in v0.16.1 tracks Sticker collections alongside Medals and Titles.

Recent Major Updates (2026)

v0.15.1 (January 30th, 2026) — "3 Optimizations" added the Art Floor and Aquatic Floor variants, increased the maximum Twisted count from 6 to 8, removed duplicate Twisted spawns, and reworked the Floor Spawning System so Diner and Greenhouse spawn from Floor 1+ instead of Floor 6+. This update also introduced 3 new Skins (Cozy Lighting Brightney, Neapolitan Goob, Rainbow Sherbet Scraps) and optimized models for several Toons.

v0.16.1 (February 27th, 2026) — "Squirm & Achievements" added the Squirm Toon, Twisted Squirm, the Library Floor, the Journal system with Medals, Titles, and Sticker collection tracking, plus 25 new Medals and Badges.

v0.17.1 (March 20th, 2026) — "2026 Easter Event" brought back seasonal Toons (Bassie, Cocoa, Eggson, Flyte), added over 30 new Easter Skins across five content drops, introduced the Spring-Time Cosmetic Pack gamepass, the Spring Fever floor event, and new Easter Stickers.

v0.18.1 (May 1st, 2026) — "Sprout's Week" launched the Toon of the Week feature with 2 exclusive Sprout Skins (Chef and Golden Berry), a new Title, a Golden Sticker, and updated Twisted Sprout behaviors.

v0.19.1 (May 15th, 2026) — "Machines Overhaul & Duo Machines" introduced nine Duo Machine types, overhauled Machine visuals, and added 14 new Medals and Badges.

v0.20.1 (May 22nd, 2026) — "Vee-Mail" added the Vee-Mail feature, remade two Skins (Vivid Monarch Flutter and Crafty Calico Scraps), and fixed multiple Trinket bugs.

v0.21.1 (June 5th, 2026) — "2026 Care Bears Collab" introduced Share Bear (Cosmo), Wish Bear (Gigi), and Tenderheart Bear (Sprout) Skins, along with a new quest system where completing 3 quests unlocks 1 free Collab Skin.

v0.22.1 (June 12th, 2026) — "Finn's Week" added Golden Fishbowl, Reef Explorer, and Swimmy Finn Skins, updated the Aquatic Floor, added Swimmy Barnaby Machine variants, added the Golden Finn Sticker plus Finn-themed medals and titles, reworked Twisted Finn, buffed Finn's Reel In speed boost to 35%, reworked Fishing Rod, and moved code redemption to a lobby computer.

Staying Up to Date

The best way to track updates is through the official BlushCrunch Discord server, which posts patch notes in the changelogs channel immediately after each update. The game's Roblox page also updates its icon and thumbnail with each minor update. Seasonal events like Easter and Christmas run for several weeks with multiple content drops, so checking in regularly ensures you do not miss limited-time Skins, Stickers, or Trinkets. Holiday event content is removed after the event ends, but any Toons, Skins, Stickers, and Trinkets earned during the event remain in your inventory permanently.
